Story 2

This story involved Hong Kong TV Star Jackie Chan. He was filming a movie when the accident happened. During a stunt he was doing, he fell into a ravine. The crew members thought that he was dead for sure! However, not only did he survived the incident but he also managed to climb up the ravine by himself.

During that time, he was said to be wearing a Somdej of the late Luang Phor Pae. As expected, the particular amulet's value shot up furiously after the news of his incident was reported.

Story 3

This is another story relating to the ever-famous Wat Paknam pendant. It is related to the 4th batch of the amulet. The story goes that the sister of a drug addict was shot with an M-16 machine gun. The sister was said to refused giving money to her drug addict brother. The sister's husband was not so lucky as he died on the spot with 7 shots!

She was reported to have gotten 4 shots on her body (3 on the back, 1 on the front, if I remember correctly!). She survived however as the bullets could not penetrate her body! The Bangkok Post photos had shown bullet holes on the car outside their house. It was this famous story that causes so many people to collect Wat Paknam pendants and such that the value of the amulet shot up.

Until today, many people still witness the miracles ever performed by this small amulet.

Story 4

Below are 2 stories related to the wearing of the Luang Phor Dang pendant: Part 1

In the year 1964 an American couple who was visiting Thailand heard about the events of the supernatural powers of Luang Phor Dang. Out of curiosity, the couple headed for Wat Kamanliyat to pay their respects to Luang Phor Dang. Before they left, LP Dang personally gave them 2 bronze pendants of himself. The American couple were pleased to have received the presents and left happily, not knowing that the pendants have a powerful effect. They only wished that it would bring them joy and happiness. On their journey home, the pendants of Luang Phor Dang gave them the testimony but the price for it was indeed a fearsome experience. According to reports, the car in which they were travelling fell into a dangerous ravine.

All other passengers were admitted to hospitals with serious injuries but they were fortunate to have suffered only slight injuries and were treated as outpatients. Although the incident did not originally caused any upset in the time schedule for their return flight; they suddenly felt that it was actually the pendants of Luang Phor Dang that had saved their lives. With that in mind, they were then eager to get a few more as presents for their family. Therefore they postponed their flight hoping to find more of the said pendants so as to bring home to their relatives for the means of protection. However, in the early morning of the 3rd day the headlines in the press gave them a sign of relief.

The flight, which they cancelled the day before, ended up in a crash with 71 passengers on board all perished. Again a miracle has happened and they realised those 2 calamities which were supposed to befall themselves, had been averted on account the pendants of Luang Phor Dang.

Part 2

In 1969 when North and South Vietnam were at war, a desendant of an American GI was living together in a camp with a group of Thai soldiers. One day the camp was ordered to move to another place because the situation was then quite unfavourable. A commander staying in the camp, who has lived together with this Eurasian boy for quite time was deeply fond of this intelligent and smart child. Before leaving, he took out one of the pendants he was wearing and gave to the boy for wearing.

After that, he left for the frontline into the battlefield. Several days later when he returned, he found out that the group of people that stayed back had all died for the country. It was unfortunate of the unit to have encountered artillary fire from the enemy. In the terrible confusion and disaster, only 1 child survived.

It was the Eurasian boy who escaped death. Later it was known that the pendant he was wearing is none other than Luang Phor Dang.
