Amulets Stories By Smoke79

It happened on one morning either in late November or early December 1999. I don't remember the exact date but I was heading towards Sungei Rd and I remember briefly that road is Rochor Canal Rd. Anyway I was about to cross the pedestrian crossing when I felt a slight tug at my right.

I turned but there's nobody there. Just then a white van sped past in front of me from my right, beating the red light signal.

I was wearing three pendants at that time and my Luang Phor Thuat amulet happened to be the one on the right side.

If you want to know, it's a Wat Changhai, BE2535, bronze, inverted U-shaped medal.

Story 1

It happened to me when I was 18 years old back in 1995. After sitting for the SPm (Malaysian certificate), I was looking for a job during my holidays. It was so hard at that time to find a job in the place where I live in, Sabah, as I have no contacts. I told this matter to a friend of mine back in Sabah,Kota Kinabalu. He told me he has a solution for me. I thought he was going to introduce a person to me. Instead, he took out his Rak Yom oil and ask me to apply it. I said,."Well, ok, no problem". I thought he was joking around when he said that I will get a job soon. After using the oil which I "borrowed" from my friend, I went for a job interview working as a retail assistant.

To my surprise, I was offered the job straight away with commission! I was very happy and I told the good news to my friend. Some of my other friends envy and wonder how on earth I got such a good job. Well...I guess you guys out there already know the answer.

Story 2

On August 1998 (if I am not wrong), I was given an amulet of the King Chulalungkorn by a dear friend of mine in Penang for my birthday. The age of the amulet is around 12 years old and is made of metal. From my research, the Thai people regard their kings as Devas and whenever they bring a matter to the King it would be answered. I just wore this amulet for some time. One day when I was waiting for the bus to go home, a group of youngsters challenge me to a fight. However, in my heart, I just ignored them. I felt one of them saying in Maori (haere atu ki konei) which means "let's go now". From what I saw, they were armed with knives in their pockets. While I just sat there and wondered why they took off like so suddenly like cowards. When I reached home, I suddenly understood that it must have been the amulet of King Chulalungkorn, or King Rama V, which protected me.

If not, I guess I would have been involved in a bloody fight and probably be dead too. King Chulalungkorn's amulet is known to give charisma, prosperity and protection to the person who wears it. However I've heard of stories which says it protects females especially but have no idea of its truth.

Story 3

I was given an amulet of Phra Pitta Maha Lap from a monk here in New Zealand for my birthday. It is made of jasmine powder which I have no idea which monastery it is from in Thailand. This was in back in September 1997. I heard of sotries that Phra Pitta grants the wearer prosperity, invulnerability and most of all, loving kindness or metta for the Maha Lap mould. I was wearing this amulet for a week when I was walking alone one day, and wondered why on earth everybody said hi to me. It is not often people do that in New Zealand unless for old folks to greet others on the street. Some females were staring at me at the university library where I was doing my assignments. I thought to myself, "Hmmm... Did I forget to zip up my jeans?" I looked down and found it was zipped up alright. The females just continued to stare at me and eventually waved to me. It was strange to me because I have no idea who they are.

At another point of time, I was approached by a gay asking if I was gay. I said no and asked him curiously why did he ask me that? He told me that I looked very hansome.Geez, until now I seldom wear this amulet because I am afraid it will bring more gays to me. Well, guys, believe it or not, it's tru, although I won't say that Phra Pitta Maha Lap amulets does that all the time.
